Casa Moderna Fresca & The Pool Club @ Mahogany Bay

The accommodations were as expected. Positive: Spacious accommodations. Beautiful resort with restaurants available on site.

It is unfortunate there was no accessible breach or reasonable restaurant in the property. Positive: The villa was comfortable. Negative: No matter what we did the floor was very sandy. Also we were not impressed by the beach towels which were not clean.

Peaceful Positive: Very clean and the staff very helpful Negative: It’s dark throughout the property. If I were alone with women would probably wouldn’t go out once it’s dark.

This house was very pretty and was stocked with essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries even coffee and laundry detergent which was super helpful especially after a day at the beach. We also enjoyed the hot tub upstairs and the view was amazing!! AC worked great and hot water was great too. Highly recommend-I even posted on Facebook, that’s how much we enjoyed our stay!

This property will be such a jewel when completed but things still need to be improved. Positive: I like the location of the property. It was nice to be just a few mins outside of town. The Pool Club is a nice hang out spot with delicious dishes to explore and the sushi restaurant was amazing! The resort staff are very friendly and will happily assist you when needed. The property manager was awesome and a great help to us with transportation and with a few other details listed below. It would be cool if the villa came with a couple of bicycles to ride around the property with. The property is going to be top tier once construction is completed! Negative: Since this is still a construction site there's a lot that can be addressed. When we got there we noticed the villa had not been properly cleaned. There was hair in the bathrooms and in the sheets. The bath towels were so stained that we had to request to change them out. There's no indoor lock on the the front door. You have to use your key to lock yourself in. The front door is 2 way glass; it would be nice to look out but not have those passing by looking in. No handle to open/close the 300 pound sliding door from the outside to access the backyard and upstairs area. There's a gap in the wall between the master bathroom and guest bathroom, so you can hear/smell what's going on in either of them when in use. **A small suggestion in regards to the construction dust is to offer cleaning services to guest every other day. I know privacy is key at this property but it should definitely be addressed as things are still being built.
