The Plumeria House & Mistico Beach Club + Boat Shuttle

We visited Belize as a family of 4 and stayed at the Plumeria House, which was an excellent choice for us. Great location within Mahogany Bay to access the Farmhouse and Pool Club. The house was well-maintained and very comfortable for relaxing after long days of exploring the island. We had a terrific vacation, and we highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a great place to relax and enjoy their time on the island.

The management company was excellent. The house is located next to an amazing restaurant, the PoolClub which my family enjoyed so much we ate there multiple times during our 7 day trip. There is no easy beach access, so we needed to go to bars, or other resorts for meals to have beach time. We had multiple water excursions that were truly wonderful. We took my in-laws and the separate unit in the house worked out great for them.

We absolutely would come back again. Positive: We loved how close it was to the main town and it was quiet. We loved that we had a private pool and the pool club was right outside. It was perfect for a girls’ trip. We felt safe! Negative: We didn’t like that the casita wasn’t connected to the main house. There were also windows that look directly into the casita with no blinds so in theory, someone could watch you sleep. It may be good for a couple for women solo, it didn’t feel comfortable. The locks were also a bit tricky to use.

The people were great! There were things that went wrong but they were on top of it. I would fix the glass doors that are stuck and the rust spot in the pool, and the lounge chair cushions may have gotten attacked by some animal, lol. Would stay again!

Enjoyed our stay at the Plumeria House. The host was very easy to communicate with. Check in and check out were seamless.
