The Plumeria House at Mahogany Bay + Pool Club

We absolutely would come back again. Positive: We loved how close it was to the main town and it was quiet. We loved that we had a private pool and the pool club was right outside. It was perfect for a girls’ trip. We felt safe! Negative: We didn’t like that the casita wasn’t connected to the main house. There were also windows that look directly into the casita with no blinds so in theory, someone could watch you sleep. It may be good for a couple for women solo, it didn’t feel comfortable. The locks were also a bit tricky to use.

Enjoyed our stay at the Plumeria House. The host was very easy to communicate with. Check in and check out were seamless.

The Plumeria House was absolutely beautiful, and perfect for our stay in Belize! We loved having our personal pool, and we slept well every night! The check-in and checkout process was smooth and management communicated in advance and timely! Will definitely consider for our next visit!

We stayed at this home end of June. The biggest complain is that there is a swamp land in the back and there are a lot of mosquitos, you can't even enjoy the back deck with the pool without getting bit. A lot of mosquitos swarm around you when swimming. You can even get bit by them opening the front door. Here are couple of the big issues in the house: - Washer machine is broken - reported to the property manager but never came back. It needs a new washer machine as the drum is visible - Wood floor is warped, have to wear slippers inside even though there is a sign said do not wear shoes inside - House was not thoroughly cleaned, we did notice dust around the house - many minor issues but livable
