The Lovejoy & Mistico Beach Club + Boat Shuttle

We had an absolute blast staying at Love Joy Villa for my birthday! The house itself is stunning and the location couldn't be more perfect. We really loved the security and feel of being within a community. The layout is quite unique—with the bedrooms downstairs and the kitchen upstairs—which worked well for us. Having a washer and dryer on-site was a huge plus, as it allowed us to take care of laundry before heading home. They even provided beach towels, which was such a thoughtful and helpful touch. Make sure to visit the pool house for the French toast—it’s amazing! We highly recommend this stay and will definitely be returning.

Love the home and hospitality (obviously)...I keep coming back for more. Which leads me into...I can also see small issues needing to be fixed that your inspectors could easily miss. For the LoveJoy (it didn't use to be this way, so it's something recent). But the water pressure needs addressing. The guest baths have hardly any pressure at all, almost not even usable. The master has also gotten really bad. Also - the hot water. You have to wait about 20 minutes for the water to warm up, and then you might feel it get a little warm, but it won't last long. That needs to be fixed. Additionally, the washing machine has an issue. It drains when it wants to. Lastly, the mosquitoes need to be addressed in the porch areas. My father is highly allergic to them, and he won't even go outside. The home needs a mosquito repellent of some kind, something awful. Please note these are items I'd love to see addressed because after all this, it is a beautiful home I indeed want to keep renting the LoveJoy. I'd just like these minor issues remedied for next time. That is...until my new home is complete in MBV :-) Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lovejoy! The photos provide an accurate description of the property. The team was very responsive to our questions and helped us arrange in-house massage services and a private chef. They were also helpful with arranging golf carts. The Poolclub was very nice...food, drinks and the pool we took advantage of. There was always someone in the office to assist when we had questions about getting around and things to do. One thing I will note, is that the bedrooms and laundry room are on the ground/pool level with the living room, kitchen and half bath on the second level. FYI, if you don't want to deal with stairs. Otherwise, do not hesitate to book this place.

Beautiful place on the island and I have enjoyed every time I have stayed there. Unfortunately their were several power outages during my stay. The place was missing candles for use. Along with no beach towels for the pool or the pool club for use. Also you need to provide notes for which switches work the air conditioners and the ceiling fans...

We had an amazing time at The LoveJoy! The home had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The porches were perfect—whether it was morning coffee or an evening read, they were our go-to spots to unwind. The pool was in the sun for most of the day, which made it even better for lounging and swimming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals at home. We truly can’t wait for our next visit!
